Meet the Team

Big Rig Rugby is a high-quality rugby development organisation dedicated to supporting players, coaches, clubs, schools and communities across North East Scotland and beyond.

We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to experience outstanding coaching, develop a lifelong love of rugby and reach their full potential—whether that's playing for enjoyment, representing their club or school, or progressing to the highest levels of the game.

From our youngest players taking their first steps in rugby to aspiring performance athletes, we provide structured, age-appropriate programmes that develop technical skills, athletic movement, game understanding, confidence, resilience and character. Our coaching philosophy places equal importance on developing better people as well as better players.

Alongside player development, Big Rig Rugby works with schools, clubs, coaches and partner organisations to strengthen the game at every level. Through coach mentoring, programme delivery, rugby development support, resource sharing and community engagement, we help create sustainable environments where players and coaches can thrive.

Everything we do is underpinned by a commitment to quality, innovation and enjoyment. We create safe, inclusive and inspiring environments where individuals are challenged to grow, supported to succeed and encouraged to fulfil their potential.
